Grateful
We all encounter teachers along our life’s journey.
I believe every single person we encounter is a teacher in some way or another and I wouldn’t be where I am today without so many instructors, teachers and mentors who have positively guided me and shaped my character. To those teachers and for those teachings, I am grateful. I live each day doing what I love in hopes that my offerings can in some way be a positive influence and encouragement to those students I encounter.
With an overflowing heart of gratitude, I bow to the many wise guides who have illuminated my path. First, to my parents for the sacred gift of life itself and for planting the earliest seeds of spiritual curiosity. To my brothers, my first teachers alongside our parents, who helped shape my journey.
I'm eternally grateful to Sianna Sherman for introducing me to the profound Alignment of Yoga, and to the radiant Elena Brower for stretching me to new heights while embodying calm, steadfast leadership. My deepest thanks to Anodea Judith for her expert teachings on the luminous chakras.
I honor Theresa Murphy, Karen Rafferty, Lona Kovacs, Deb Neubauer, Sean Corne, Baron Baptiste, Carole "Shivani" Bull, Lucy Cimini, Ray Mucci, Cindy Boulter, Marc St. Pierre, Nikki Jacobs, John Friend, Lynne Patterson, Bret Russman and the dozens more yoga instructors whose wisdom has profoundly influenced my life and practice.
Eternal gratitude also to the sanctuaries where I was able to immerse in practice - Third Eye Yoga Collective, Kripalu, HeartWell Institute, Central MA Yoga, Metrowest Yoga, the transformative Wanderlust festivals, and so many more sacred spaces.
I'm indebted to Marie Forleo, Tony Robbins, Amanda Regan, Ashley Decker and Natalie for their invaluable wisdom on business, success and living fully. Immense gratitude pours forth for my kindred spirits who have graced my journey - my lifelong "homies" who have walked life's path with me, my beloved college sisters who forever hold a place in my heart, my "Mamma friends" who are the bedrock of my community and world, and all the beautiful yogi souls, teachers of song: Peggy Tartaglia, Steve Murray, music kindreds and life acquaintances whose light has sprinkled my days with warmth and happiness. Finally, I bow to all the failures, relationships, and experiences that have helped refine my deepest desires and revealed the radiant gifts of today's successes.
My heart overflows with thanksgiving for each guide, mentor and experience on this sacred journey of self-discovery. Infinite gratitude for lighting my way.
